How much does it cost to register a domain?
The current cost is $49 CAD per year for .com, .org, .net, .biz and .info. The cost is a little higher for .ca, at $83 CAD per year.
Can you bill me for this so I can pay later?
Not at this time. ICANN is requiring that all domains be pre-paid before
they are activated.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, cheques and money orders. Make any check or money order payable
to Interserva Inc. Please include your domain name and order number with your payment. Please Note: if you pay by cheque or money order, your order will not be processed until the cheque or money order is received. Up until the time your payment is received, and your order is processed, someone else could register the domain, making it unavailable to you.
How do I tell if a domain I want is available?
The system will tell you it isn't available when you try and register it.
You can also use the Whois
interface to check to see if a domain is taken as well.
What if I need to make changes to my domain?
If you made a mistake entering information for your domain or things have
changed since you registered your domain you can edit it. Just go to the
Manage Your Domain web
interface and make the required changes. You can make almost any change to
your domain there.
What if I forget or don't know my password to edit my
domain?
Contact us by email or phone and we can send the password by email to
the adminstrative contact of the domain.
Can I host my web site with anyone even though I am buying the
domain name from you?
Yes, you can host your web site with anyone that you choose.
How much would it cost to have you host my web site for me?
Currently the prices start at $9 (CAD) per month for a Business Card web-site. Click Here for more information about hosting your web site.
Once I register for a domain name do I own it?
Not until the Order is processed, at which time a confirmation e-mail is sent to you. There is a small possibility that someone else placed an order for the same domain, around the same time that you did, possibly with another registrar. In this case, your Order may be rejected during final processing.
How will I know when/if I got the domain name I registered for?
Once the domain has been activated you will recieve an e-mail to let you
know your registration has been completed, and the domain name is active.
Once my domain name is active how long before I can use it?
Generally it takes about 12-48 hours before everyone on the internet is
able to see your new domain name.

You should contact us and try to be as specific as possible about the problems you are having.
